                I am a new customer to Vans Office Supplies .

How can I begin ordering?           

Thank you for choosing Vans Office Supplies. Before you can begin ordering you will need to take a few moments to register a new account for yourself or your business. Registering is simple and will allow you to place and track your online orders, access your order history, manage all your previously ordred or favourite products and create standard orders.

To register, either click here or click on the login button on the top menu to go to the login page. Select the click here to register link. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the form to create your new User ID. Once you have entered and submitted your details, you will need to check your inbox for an activation email. Click on the link specified in the email to activate your User ID. Then start browsing and ordering from our extensive online catalogue of products.

N.B.: You agree to take responsibility for the safekeeping of your User ID and password. You are liable if your User ID or password is used by an unauthorised person. You agree to release and indemnify Vans Office Supplies in connection with any use, whether authorised or unauthorised, of your User ID or password. Vans Office Supplies may suspend or cancel your account at any time without prior notice.

After registering for an account, how quickly can I start ordering?

Once you have registered and we have approved and activated your account, you can begin ordering straight away. Your prices will also be made available to you, once activated.

 

What if I have forgotten my login or password?

Complete these steps if you know your User ID:

1. Click here to go to the Forgot Password page.

2. Enter the email address you registered with and click Continue. A new password will be emailed to the email address you gave us when you registered.

3. You can also then again or at anytime change your own password when in the site, under profile , you will find that option to do the change of password.  


What options do I have to pay for items that I have ordered?

Available payment options are:

                                    · Credit facilities, on an indicated account                                                                           (available to approved business account customers)

                                                           · Company, personal or bank cheques

                                                           · Direct Debit or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

                                                 · Secure online credit card transactions

 

How do I find the product I'm looking for?

There are various ways to finding a product:

1. Search. Using the 'search box' at the top left of centre of the screen, enter either a product code or a word relating to the product you want.  A list of matching products will appear, then press the enter button on your keyboard. . If there are multiple pages of items, you can view a different page by clicking on the page number just above the list. Click on the product’s Code (second column from left) to bring up more detailed information on the product..

2. By Category. Scroll over the Category button on the lefthand sideof screen, this opens up the subcategories to the right , once you have identified the area of product then enter or clicking on that bar or area selecting the category. You will see a list of subcategories, followed by a list of items in the current category/subcategory. Keep in mind the following:N.B. If there are products that you think you will be ordering on a regular basis, you may wish to make up an order for all those items and then save that order as your Favourites or as your Standard Monthly Order  Otherwise refer back to any of your past orders to see the items which you have previously ordered. 

· Each time you choose a subcategory the list of items displayed will grow smaller.

· If there are multiple pages of items, you can view a different page by clicking on the page number just above the list.

· Click on the product’s Code (second column from left) to bring up more detailed information on the product.

· To go up one or more categories, click on one of the appropriate category links underneath the current category name (the big, bold, blue one). These links look like Products > Accessories > Speakers

 

How do I add products to my order?

There are a couple of ways to add products to your order:

1. If you have found your desired product and clicked on the product’s Code to view its detailed information, then simply specify a quantity in the Qty field and click the ADD TO ORDER button. You will be taken to the Current Order page.** If you wish to continue adding more products, feel free to do so.

2. If your desired item is displayed in a list alongside other items and you do not need to view detailed information on the product, simply specify a quantity in the QTY column and click the ADD TO ORDER button at the bottom of the list. You will be taken to the Current Order page.** If you wish to continue adding more products, feel free to do so.

3. If you know the product codes for the items you wish to add to your order, click on the create new order link in the navigation panel on the right and specify the product code and quantity and click Add.

4. If you have previously added products to your Favourites list, you can click on the my favourites link and add products from your list by specifying a quantity in the Qty field and clicking the ADD TO ORDER button. You will be taken to the Current Order page.** If you wish to continue adding more products, feel free to do so.

5. Add products using the standard order feature. For more information on what standard orders are and how to use them click here.

How do I add Special Items or Items not found on the site?
When you have completed ordering the standard items, continue to checkout and at the stage where you are compeled to insert an order number, you will find an area for Special Instructions/order special items . Simply use this space to type in your Special Items request and our sales person will contact you  either by email or telephone , in the event that your request is not clear.  If item is to be repeatedly ordered by you , please do simply email us and request that we place this item on the web permanently for your convenience.  

So I have all the products I want on my current order, now what?

Once you have added all the items that you want for your current order, simply click the Checkout button to begin the checkout process. Follow the prompts.

N.B. If you logout without completing your order via the checkout your order will be saved for you automatically in the trolley until you revisit and delete or process.
